A place to learn, rebuild and discover what might come next.
You may have skills you have never thought to call skills. Her Rise On helps you uncover them, build confidence and explore what you could create. If you want to turn an idea into an online business of your own, we can help you work through the practical steps, with care around privacy, boundaries and what you share online. It is a way to work towards greater financial independence and create something you can be proud of. You do not need to arrive with a business idea neatly wrapped and ready to go.
What happened to you does not erase what is already in you.
One-to-one support is available now
Support is available in person across South Warwickshire by arrangement, and virtually.
You do not need a business idea, a referral or the right words to get in touch. Share only what feels safe. We begin with what matters to you, at a pace you choose.

One-to-one support is available now
We help you uncover skills you may not yet recognise and see what you could do with them. Our support is practical and reflective, with room to build confidence and digital awareness. If you choose, we can help you turn an idea into an online business of your own, considering privacy, boundaries and online safety from the start. The aim is to help you work towards greater financial independence and create something you can be proud of. Learning, work or taking time to decide are equally welcome next steps. Starting a business is not an expectation.
You do not need a business idea, a referral or the right words to get in touch. Share only what feels safe. We begin with what matters to you, at a pace you choose.
We offer warm, confidential support where appropriate and safe. The sessions are reflective and practical, not clinical, diagnostic or therapy.
Your first conversation is simply a calm chance to ask questions, consider whether support feels right and decide what could be useful. We can talk about whether meeting in person or virtually would suit you. Share only what feels safe. You do not have to tell your story or commit to anything further.
Virtual support is a way to have an individual conversation. It does not open an online account or give access to future groups or courses.
One-to-one supportOur impact
Our mission is to support as many women and their families as possible towards independence and increased confidence.
Her Rise On helps women who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse to build online businesses. We do this not because work solves everything, but because financial independence can open the door to safety, choice and a future shaped by you.
Women are supported by trauma informed mentors and business coaches. For therapeutic and wellbeing support, we signpost to trusted external organisations.

One connected approach
HER Rise On brings together three connected ideas. We start close to home and build practical, safer choices without asking women to become someone else.
Prevent
Give young people better emotional and relationship tools earlier. Our schools work is a development ambition for the next 12 months, not a service already running.
Rebuild
Help women reconnect with confidence, abilities and agency after difficult or destabilising experiences. Domestic abuse support is clear, but sharing a history is never required.
Independence
Create practical pathways towards skills, work, income and greater choice. No individual financial outcome is promised.
No business idea. No pressure. No need to have it all figured out.
Starting again rarely happens in one enormous leap.
Sometimes it begins with learning something new.
Remembering what you are good at.
Realising that a skill you already have could become something more.
Or simply giving yourself enough space to think about what you might want next.
Her Rise On provides tools you can use right now to help you do exactly that.
Build useful skills
Develop practical digital, work and business skills through our free guides that can open up new possibilities, without needing to make yourself public.
Recognise your strengths
Use our private strengths discovery tool to identify what you are already good at and how those skills could apply to employment, learning or business.
Work out what comes next
Your next step might be employment, further learning, testing a small business idea, asking for specialist advice or deciding that now is not the right time.
There is more than one way forward. Explore practical learning
Building wider access for 2027
A wider supported course is planned for 2027 to help Her Rise On reach and support more women with practical learning and support. It will widen access. It will not replace the individual support available now.
Course and group referrals and places are still in development. Applications are not open yet. You do not need to wait for the course to begin exploring what could be useful now. You are warmly welcome to speak with us.
Start with a conversation, at your own pace
Week 1Start with what you already have
Look at the skills, experience and strengths you already use in everyday life and begin exploring what they could make possible.
You do not have to start from zero.
Week 2Build your digital confidence
Get more comfortable with practical digital tools for work, learning, local services and online income. Explore appropriate AI tools for general learning, drafting and checking, while considering privacy, accuracy and what you make visible.
Week 3Turn skills into possibilities
Explore flexible employment, freelancing, service work, local products and services or online ideas. Learn basic marketing and how to describe value without promising outcomes.
No public pitch is required.
Week 4Try small before you go big
Learn how to test an idea without spending a fortune, building an entire business or telling the whole internet about it. Consider client boundaries, expectations and ways to stop or pause.
Small experiments can answer useful questions.
Week 5Understand the practical bits
Explore value, pricing, payments, tax, benefits and other practical considerations, alongside guidance on when qualified professional advice may be needed.
You are not expected to know all of this already.
Week 6Choose your next step
Bring together what you have learned and make a practical next step plan.
That might be taking an idea further, looking for work, trying freelance or service work, continuing to learn, getting specialist advice or simply giving yourself time.
Applications and funded places for this future programme are not yet open.
There is room for all kinds of business ideas.
Our public learning guides are online. Individual support is available locally by arrangement and virtually. Your business can be local, online or both.
Perhaps you love making cakes, have an eye for photography, or enjoy gardening, sewing or fixing things. You might offer a local service, sell a product, work online or combine a few different approaches.
We can help you explore what an idea would involve, who it might help and whether it could fit your skills, circumstances and interests. For those in our pilot region, we also signpost to trusted business support in South Warwickshire.
For others, employment or further learning will make far more sense.
Her Rise On is not here to persuade you to become an entrepreneur.
We are here to help you explore your options with good information and without unnecessary pressure.
If you do want to explore a business, we will also help you think about things that are easy to overlook: costs, equipment, customer contact, travel, payments, privacy and what becomes visible online.
Different businesses have different responsibilities. Food safety, insurance, permissions, tax or other requirements may need specialist advice before you start trading.
Engaging with Her Rise On will never require you to use your photograph, build a public social media profile, publish your home address, take out a loan or launch a business. We can help you explore what an idea would require before you decide whether to take it further.
Not programme participants.A private place to learn
When course access opens in the future, learners will have a private space for lessons, practical resources and their own progress.
We are taking the time to make sure that space is secure, accessible and straightforward to use before opening it.
Because learning something new can feel daunting enough without wrestling with technology as well.
Access to clinical and therapeutic support
We are developing more ways to help women find the support they need.
Our planned support marketplace will include access to professional clinical and therapeutic support, including donated therapy places. It will be carefully reviewed, with clear information about the professionals, the support offered and how to access it.
Coming soon. These services are not open for requests or bookings yet, and there is no confirmed opening date. We will introduce them only when the right professionals, safeguards and support are in place.
Discover the future of Her Rise OnRelationships for Real Life
Over the next 12 months, we intend to develop age appropriate workshops for teens and tweens with appropriate educational, safeguarding and specialist input. They are not running yet and applications are not open.

Need support today?
Her Rise On is not an emergency or specialist domestic abuse service.
If you are experiencing domestic abuse now, are worried about your safety or need specialist help, we can take you directly to organisations that are equipped to support you.
If you are in immediate danger, call 999 and ask for the police.
Find specialist support nowWe are building Her Rise On with care.
Her Rise On's wider supported groups and courses are currently being developed. Applications and referrals for those future offers are not yet open.
However, our public learning guides, strengths discovery tool, and resource directory are freely available for you to use today.
Safety before speed.
We want Her Rise On to feel warm and hopeful.
We also want it to be worthy of your trust.
That means building with lived experience, specialist domestic abuse knowledge, appropriate professional advice, thoughtful safeguarding, accessible learning and careful use of personal information.
It means collecting only the information we genuinely need.
It also means being straightforward about what exists, what is still being developed and what Her Rise On can, and cannot, provide.
If something is not confirmed, we will not pretend that it is.
For partners and funders
Her Rise On is being developed to help bridge the space between specialist domestic abuse support and practical opportunities to learn, work, build digital confidence and explore sustainable ways of earning.
We would love to hear from organisations interested in contributing specialist expertise, lived experience insight, accessible learning, professional advice, evaluation or sustainable funding.
A conversation is a conversation. We will only describe organisations as Her Rise On partners when a partnership has been formally agreed.
