HER Rise On brings together three connected ideas. We start close to home and build practical, safer choices without asking women to become someone else.
Prevent
Give young people better emotional and relationship tools earlier. Our schools work is a development ambition for the next 12 months, not a service already running.
Rebuild
Help women reconnect with confidence, abilities and agency after difficult or destabilising experiences. Domestic abuse support is clear, but sharing a history is never required.
Independence
Create practical pathways towards skills, work, income and greater choice. No individual financial outcome is promised.

What we are building: a six week programme
While our guides and tools are available now, we are developing a supported six week programme. When applications open in the future, learners will be able to explore the content at their own pace, with choices including employment, freelancing, service work, further learning, local products or services, online income and a pause.
Week 1Start with what you already have
Look at the skills, experience and strengths you already use in everyday life and begin exploring what they could make possible.
You do not have to start from zero.
Week 2Build your digital confidence
Get more comfortable with practical digital tools for work, learning, local services and online income. Explore appropriate AI tools for general learning, drafting and checking, while considering privacy, accuracy and what you make visible.
Week 3Turn skills into possibilities
Explore flexible employment, freelancing, service work, local products and services or online ideas. Learn basic marketing and how to describe value without promising outcomes.
No public pitch is required.
Week 4Try small before you go big
Learn how to test an idea without spending a fortune, building an entire business or telling the whole internet about it. Consider client boundaries, expectations and ways to stop or pause.
Small experiments can answer useful questions.
Week 5Understand the practical bits
Explore value, pricing, payments, tax, benefits and other practical considerations, alongside guidance on when qualified professional advice may be needed.
You are not expected to know all of this already.
Week 6Choose your next step
Bring together what you have learned and make a practical next step plan.
That might be taking an idea further, looking for work, trying freelance or service work, continuing to learn, getting specialist advice or simply giving yourself time.
Applications and funded places are not yet open.
There is room for all kinds of business ideas.
The learning takes place online. Your business does not have to.
Perhaps you love making cakes, have an eye for photography, or enjoy gardening, sewing or fixing things. You might offer a local service, sell a product, work online or combine a few different approaches.
We can help you explore what an idea would involve, who it might help and whether it could fit your skills, circumstances and interests. For those in our pilot region, we also signpost to trusted business support in South Warwickshire.
For others, employment or further learning will make far more sense.
Her Rise On is not here to persuade you to become an entrepreneur.
We are here to help you explore your options with good information and without unnecessary pressure.
If you do want to explore a business, we will also help you think about things that are easy to overlook: costs, equipment, customer contact, travel, payments, privacy and what becomes visible online.
Different businesses have different responsibilities. Food safety, insurance, permissions, tax or other requirements may need specialist advice before you start trading.
Engaging with Her Rise On will never require you to use your photograph, build a public social media profile, publish your home address, take out a loan or launch a business. We can help you explore what an idea would require before you decide whether to take it further.

When course access opens in the future, learners will have a private space for lessons, practical resources and their own progress.
We are taking the time to make sure that space is secure, accessible and straightforward to use before opening it.
Because learning something new can feel daunting enough without wrestling with technology as well.
Access to clinical and therapeutic support
We are developing more ways to help women find the support they need.
Our planned support marketplace will include access to professional clinical and therapeutic support, including donated therapy places. It will be carefully reviewed, with clear information about the professionals, the support offered and how to access it.
Coming soon. These services are not open for requests or bookings yet, and there is no confirmed opening date. We will introduce them only when the right professionals, safeguards and support are in place.

Over the next 12 months, we intend to develop age appropriate workshops for teens and tweens with appropriate educational, safeguarding and specialist input. They are not running yet and applications are not open.

That means building with lived experience, specialist domestic abuse knowledge, appropriate professional advice, thoughtful safeguarding, accessible learning and careful use of personal information.
It means collecting only the information we genuinely need.
It also means being straightforward about what exists, what is still being developed and what Her Rise On can, and cannot, provide.
If something is not confirmed, we will not pretend that it is.
